Lot 651: A Collection of Decorative Ceramic Figurines, Royal Commemorative Mugs, and Cut-Crystal Glassware
A collection of decorative household items and commemorative ceramics. The lot includes a pair of porcelain figurines by Uniart, decorated in a blue and white palette, depicting an East Asian man and woman in traditional dress carrying yokes with suspended baskets of fish. Also present is a smaller polychrome glazed porcelain figurine of a woman in a kimono holding a fan. The group includes three commemorative mugs: a white porcelain mug for the 1986 wedding of H.R.H. Prince Andrew and Miss Sarah Ferguson, a white porcelain mug with transfer-printed portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, and a dark blue mug for the 1977 Silver Jubilee. The glassware comprises two pieces of 24% lead crystal by Royal Crystal Rock (RCR), Italy, from the Linea A series, featuring a shallow dish and a footed bowl with geometric diamond and fan-cut patterns, including an original red RCR box.
