Lot 505: Two Pairs of Vintage Binoculars including Carl Zeiss Jena and Chinon
A lot containing two pairs of vintage binoculars, each supplied with a carrying case. The first pair is a set of Carl Zeiss Jena Jenoptem 10x50W wide-angle binoculars. This Porro prism model features multi-coated optics and is marked with the Carl Zeiss Jena logo and Jenoptem 10x50W designation on the prism plates. The body is finished in black textured leatherette over a metal frame and includes a central focusing wheel and a right-eye diopter adjustment. This pair is accompanied by its original brown leatherette hard case with a red lining and a metal flip-lock clasp. The second pair is a set of Chinon Sportsman 7-15×35 zoom binoculars. This model offers variable magnification and is marked Chinon Sportsman 7-15×35 Zoom. The bridge features a stylized R Rapid Focus logo. These binoculars have a black textured finish and include a black and green woven neck strap. They are housed in a black textured semi-hard case with a buckle fastening and a shoulder strap.
