Lot 707: A Mahogany-Stained Kidney-Shaped Occasional Table and a Tabletop Shelf Unit
A kidney-shaped occasional table and a separate tabletop shelf unit, both finished in a mahogany-toned stain. The table features a shaped top with a moulded edge over a single frieze drawer with a curved front and a small brass knob. It is supported by four turned legs connected by a shaped undershelf. Two decorative oval metal medallions are inset at the tops of the front legs. The accompanying shelf unit is a separate four-compartment piece with a scalloped base and rectangular frame. A lot tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms is present on the tabletop.
