Buyer's Premium:

A collection of six Poole Pottery earthenware items, each hand-painted in the Traditional pattern. The group includes a lidded preserve or honey jar of rounded form with a notched lid and central finial; a small bulbous cream jug with a simple loop handle; two cylindrical cups; a double-walled circular napkin ring; and a long rectangular trough. The pieces are decorated with various stylized floral motifs, featuring roses and forget-me-nots in a palette of pink, yellow, blue, green, and purple. Rims and handles are finished with striped and dotted borders in green and purple. The base of the rectangular trough bears a circular factory backstamp with the word POOLE in the top arc and ENGLAND in the bottom arc surrounding a central dolphin logo. To the side of the mark is the letter B, and there are hand-painted initials in blue script, possibly reading KN.
