Lot 486: An Assortment of Items Comprising an Art Glass Vase, a Vintage Cruet Set, and a Leather Sporran
A group of miscellaneous items. The collection includes a large, heavy, hand-blown art glass vase of ovoid form. The piece features a striking internal swirl pattern of opaque cream and dark chocolate brown suspended within a thick clear glass matrix, characteristic of the Sommerso technique. It bears a white auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 486, and a secondary blue-bordered inventory sticker with the handwritten digits 5766. The second item is a four-piece table cruet set housed in a decorative chrome-plated wirework stand with a tall carrying handle. The set consists of two shakers with perforated metal screw-caps, one bottle with a faceted glass stopper, and one open glass pot, all crafted from clear pressed glass with a diamond hobnail textured pattern. The final item is a traditional Scottish day sporran made from dark brown pebbled leather. It features a curved top flap with a metal snap-button fastener and is decorated with three leather tassels suspended by braided leather cords. A small portion of red felt lining is visible at the edge.
