The upper section features a metal cross-rod carrying two hand-carved wooden fish with primitive dot-pattern decoration. The base unit consists of a twin-door cupboard secured with a central wooden turn-button latch, opening to a simple triangular interior compartment. The piece is a work of regional vernacular furniture with maritime-inspired motifs. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible; the item bears a Liskeard Auction Rooms lot sticker for lot 616 and a pink sticker numbered 32.
