Lot 618: A mid-20th-century Tudor Revival style oak two-door leaded glass display cabinet
A mid-20th-century oak two-door display cabinet or bookcase in the Tudor Revival style, characteristic of British Old Charm furniture. The single-piece unit is constructed from oak with a medium-dark finish and a prominent grain. The doors are fitted with leaded-light glass panels in a traditional geometric pattern. Carved, repeating rectangular lunette motifs decorate the side stiles. It features a simple plinth base and brass-effect hardware, including drop-pull latches and butterfly-style hinges. The interior retains its wooden finish and adjustable shelf supports, although no shelves are currently present. A white adhesive auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, lot 618, is attached to the upper side.
