Lot 753: A Collection of Flexible Drainage or Chimney Sweep Rods
A collection of flexible utility rods, likely intended for drainage clearance or chimney sweeping. The rods are constructed from a black composite or plastic material, each fitted with metal ferrules at the ends. These ferrules feature alternating male and female screw-thread connections, designed to allow multiple sections to be joined together into a continuous length. The bundle is partially contained within a heavily deteriorated clear plastic sleeve which bears a small white and blue adhesive label with the handwritten reference number 5766. There are no visible manufacturer marks, brand names, or model numbers on the items.
Individual rod sections are approximately 90 to 120 cm (3 to 4 feet) in length.
