Lot 436: A Collection of Decorative Porcelain and Ceramic Figurines and Giftware
A collection of various decorative porcelain figurines and ceramic giftware in various styles. The group features a large glazed porcelain figural group of two dancing couples in 18th-century attire, decorated with polychrome floral patterns and gilt accents. This piece carries an auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms. Also present is a group of porcelain figurines finished in a blue and white palette with gold-tone highlights, including a seated boy, a seated lady, and a group of children on a seesaw. The collection includes a ceramic character jug of a man wearing a black tricorn hat and green coat, a white bisque ceramic replica of Michelangelos David, and a bronze-toned classical male figure with a shield. Additionally, there is a small painted ceramic figurine of a girl with a lamb in the Hummel style, a leaf-shaped porcelain dish, and an oval trinket dish, both with floral transfer designs and gilt edges.
