Lot 612: A Gold-Plated Costume Jewellery Set Comprising a Leaf Vine Necklace and Matching Drop Earrings
A set of costume jewellery consisting of a necklace and a pair of matching drop earrings, presented in a blue velvet-lined gift box. The pieces are constructed from a yellow-tone metal, likely a gold-plated base metal, and feature an articulated, botanical-inspired vine design. The necklace is embellished with numerous small, round-cut clear stones, which appear to be cubic zirconia, set into the metalwork. The design leads to a central floral motif composed of similar round-cut stones. Interspersed throughout the design are larger, pear-cut black stones, likely glass or resin, set in a drop configuration. The matching earrings follow a similar drop design with clear and black stones and are fitted with clear plastic backings. No hallmarks, maker’s marks, or metal purity stamps are visible. This collectible set appears in as-new condition, as if originally from a sealed package.
