Lot 684: A Collection of Rough Mineral and Rock Specimens including Tiger Eye and Mixed Quartz
A collection of rough mineral and rock specimens presented in three distinct groups. The first group consists of three pieces of rough Tiger Eye quartz, displaying characteristic chatoyant golden-brown fibrous banding, and includes one large flat slab and two blocky sections. This group includes a handwritten label and a lot sticker from Liskeard Auction Rooms. The second group comprises an assortment of mixed rough quartz and semi-precious stone fragments in various shades of white, grey, and pale pinkish-brown, contained within a labelled zip-lock bag. The third group features three larger weathered rock specimens, including a speckled granitic cobble, a banded metamorphic or sedimentary specimen, and an irregular crystalline rock with lilac hues, possibly indicating the presence of lepidolite.
