Lot 701: A Scottish brown grained leather day sporran and a pair of red woollen kilt flashes
A traditional Scottish day sporran of rounded form, constructed from brown grained leather. The front is decorated with three leather tassels suspended from braided leather cords. It features a fold-over top flap secured by a single brown press-stud fastener. The reverse is fitted with a wide leather belt loop bearing a gold-stamped mark reading MADE IN SCOTLAND, with partially legible text above likely indicating REAL LEATHER. Accompanied by a pair of red woollen kilt flashes, each mounted on an adjustable black elasticated garter strap with metal hardware. The reverse bears a handwritten label identifying the items as Lot 810 and mentions a sgian-dubh (ski-n-do) which is not present with this lot.
