Lot 771: A 20th-century oak hexagonal side table in the Tudor revival style
A 20th-century dark oak hexagonal side table or lamp table, designed in the Tudor revival style and resembling pieces by manufacturers such as Wood Bros Old Charm or Jaycee. The table features a solid hexagonal oak top above an enclosed box-form base. The base contains a single open storage compartment, framed by carved bead-and-reel or bobbin style moulding to the front vertical edges. The sides are finished with recessed panels. The unit is supported on four square-section legs. The timber is finished in a dark-stained Old English style. A small white auction label with the hand-written number 771 is present on the top surface.
