Lot 929: Mid-20th Century Art Deco Style Oak Veneered Single Door Wardrobe
A mid-20th century single-door wardrobe or hall cupboard, showing Art Deco design influences. The piece is constructed with oak-veneered panels and finished with a medium-brown stain. The central door features a large recessed vertical panel and is fitted with an original elongated cast-metal handle. This handle is decorated with a stylized fluted or fan-shaped motif at the top and a circular base. A keyhole is located below the handle, although no key is present. The wardrobe stands on short, shaped bracket feet. The interior is fitted with a lateral metal hanging rail. No manufacturer marks are visible on the furniture.
