Lot 932: A set of contemporary wood dining furniture comprising an extending oval table and six matching chairs
A contemporary dining suite finished in a light wood veneer. The suite includes an oval extending dining table featuring a decorative dark wood stringing inlay set within a bevelled edge. The tabletop is divided by a central seam to accommodate an internal extension leaf. It is supported by a central pedestal base with four out-swept, curved legs. Accompanying the table is a set of six matching dining chairs. Each chair features a high, slightly arched backrest with five vertical slats and is supported on square legs. The seats are padded and upholstered in a textured dusty pink fabric. No maker’s marks were observed during inspection.
