Lot 286: A contemporary nine-light flush-mount ceiling or wall fixture with clear glass ice cube shades
A contemporary nine-light flush-mount ceiling or wall-mounted lighting fixture. The unit features a square, polished chrome-finished metal base plate supporting nine square-form shades. These shades are constructed from thick, moulded clear glass in a style commonly referred to as ice cube or frozen glass, each with a hollowed centre. The fixture is currently fitted with nine LED capsule-type bulbs. It is designed for hardwiring into a mains supply. This electrical item is sold as a decorative object only. It has not been tested for safety and must be inspected and installed by a qualified electrician before use. No maker’s marks are visible. The item bears an auction house label from HCP Auctions South West with lot number 286.
Condition report:
The fixture appears to be in good used condition. All nine glass shades are present and appear intact. The polished chrome base shows some light surface scratches and fingerprints consistent with handling and previous use.
