Lot 318: A Matte Black Open-Face Motorcycle Helmet with Detachable Peak Visor
A matte black open-face motorcycle helmet, resembling styles by manufacturers such as VCAN. The helmet features a matte-finished exterior shell with a detachable black plastic peak visor secured via three silver-toned metal press studs. The interior is fitted with a black padded textile lining and includes an adjustable black nylon chin strap with a red-tabbed quick-release mechanism. An internal manufacturer’s label is present within the lining; while much of the text is illegible, it clearly displays a production date of SEP 2011.
Condition report:
The helmet shows significant signs of age and use. There is visible deterioration and crumbling to the internal foam and textile padding. The exterior shell exhibits various surface scuffs, small scratches, and minor marks consistent with previous wear.
