The collection includes a Franka Solida I medium format folding camera designed for 120 roll film, featuring a Frankar-Anastigmat lens and a metal body with textured black covering. It is accompanied by a fitted brown leather ever-ready case. Also present is an Eastman Kodak No. 2 Brownie box camera, likely Model F, featuring an embossed logo on the top and constructed with a black textured keratol covering. The lot further contains a Kodak Instamatic 220 camera for 126 cartridge film, fitted with a Kodak Reomar fixed-focus lens and presented with a grey plastic storage box and brown leather case. A Beier Beirette 35mm camera in a leatherette case is also included. Supporting equipment consists of a Metz 30 TTL 1i electronic flash unit with a hot-shoe mount, along with various additional brown leather camera cases and carrying straps.
Condition report:
The items are in varied cosmetic condition consistent with age and long-term storage. The Franka Solida I appears in generally good cosmetic condition with bellows that seem intact from the exterior. The Kodak No. 2 Brownie shows significant signs of wear, particularly to the corners and edges of the exterior covering. The Kodak Instamatic 220 and Beier Beirette exhibit typical wear from use. All items are sold as collectibles for display or restoration; mechanical functions, shutter accuracy, optical clarity, and electronic components including the Metz flash have not been tested or verified.
