Lot 451: A Collection of Decorative Ceramic and Glass Wares including Mud Man Style Figures and Blue and White Tea Wares
A mixed collection of decorative ceramic and glass items. The lot includes two glazed earthenware figures of seated elders in the Chinese Mud Man style, finished with lead glazes in a palette of mustard yellow, green, and blue. One figure retains a paper auction tag for Lot 451 from HCP Auctions South West. The collection also features an assortment of blue and white porcelain tea wares decorated with transfer-printed Chinoiserie landscape and pagoda motifs. The undersides of these pieces are unmarked. Additionally, there is a small porcelain creamer and matching saucer featuring a reddish-pink transfer-printed floral and landscape design. Completing the lot is a square decorative dish of fused glass construction, featuring a stylized nautical sailboat motif in blue, white, and yellow.
