It features a central polychrome geometric star motif in shades of red, blue, and purple, surrounded by numerals written in Arabic script. The outer border consists of repeating floral and scrollwork designs in blue, red, and turquoise. There is a central aperture for a clock mechanism. The reverse is hand-inscribed in black ink: ALTIN CINI Special Hand Made KUTAHYA-TURKIYE By: YH-SO. The second item is a Chinese porcelain decorative plate, hand-painted in the Famille Rose palette. The central medallion depicts two female figures in traditional Chinese dress within a garden landscape. The wide border is decorated with polychrome floral scrolls and foliage against a yellow ground. The base bears an apocryphal four-character overglaze red mark reading Qianlong Nian Zhi.
