Lot 523: An Assortment of Decorative Coloured and Cut Glassware
An assortment of decorative glassware comprising cut crystal, ruby-red, peach, and amethyst-coloured pieces. The collection includes a pair of large cut-crystal pineapple-form ornaments featuring faceted diamond-cut bodies and clear glass spiked leaf crowns. Also included are three ruby-red glass vases, consisting of one central vase with a flared tri-lobed rim and bulbous base, and two taller, slender tapering vases. The lot further contains a collection of peach-toned glass bowls molded in the form of open flower blossoms, a small amethyst-coloured glass bowl with a crimped rim, and two clear glass paperweights of spherical form featuring internal controlled-bubble (bullicante) decoration. A partial cut-glass bowl is visible at the base of the arrangement. No factory marks, signatures, or etched maker names are visible on any of the items.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition with no significant chips, cracks, or repairs visible. As with vintage glassware, minor surface wear or small flea bites consistent with age and use may be present upon close physical inspection.
