Lot 525: A Collection of Fifteen Vintage Costume Jewellery Brooches and Five Pairs of Earrings
This lot comprises a diverse assortment of mid-20th-century costume jewellery. The collection includes fifteen brooches and five pairs of earrings featuring various motifs and materials. Among the brooches is a large silver-tone floral spray set with clear rhinestones, a circular brooch with light-blue cabochons and chaton rhinestones, and a gold-tone branch pin adorned with cream-coloured faux pearls. Novelty pieces include several lizard or gecko-themed pins, a turtle, and a stag. Other pins feature star accents, a central turquoise-coloured cabochon on a square frame, a bow, and a marcasite-style shell. The earring selection contains a pair of emerald-green faceted glass teardrops in silver-tone mounts, two pairs of circular button earrings (one with marcasite-style details and one with textured metal), a pair of bow-shaped earrings, and a pair of small floral-shaped studs.
