Lot 552: An Assortment of Costume Jewellery, Coins, and Novelty Items in a Decorative Metal Box
An assortment of items contained within a worn, black-painted metal box featuring gilt-style borders and a lot label for HCP Auctions South West. The collection includes three yellow metal rings, one with a textured face, and a large swirling yellow metal brooch set with numerous clear faceted stones. A clear plastic bag contains several pink and white beads, some with decorative filigree-style metal caps. The collection further includes a small yellow metal novelty bar inscribed 999.9 FINE GOLD NET WT 1000g, noting the physical dimensions are inconsistent with the stated weight. Two coins are present: a silver-coloured British coin featuring the profile of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscription ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA, and a 1972 United States Kennedy half-dollar marked IN GOD WE TRUST. No visible hallmarks or purity marks are present on the jewellery items.
