Lot 581: A Victorian style red and white spatter glass posy vase
A hand-blown glass posy vase of lobed, globular form, featuring a flared and crimped ruffled rim. The body is decorated with a vibrant red and white mottled spatter or end-of-day pattern over an opaque white internal casing. The vase is supported by three applied clear glass feet, each with a ribbed, shell-like design. This style of glass is characteristic of late 19th to early 20th-century production and is often associated with makers such as Fenton, Stevens and Williams, or Bohemian glassworks. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the item.
