Lot 496: A Collection of Six Pieces of Art Glass and Faceted Crystal
A collection of six pieces of decorative art glass and faceted crystal. The lot includes a tall ruby red hand-blown glass vase featuring the sommerso technique with a clear glass base and a distinctive flared rim, attributed to Murano production. Also included is a deep amethyst glass tri-lobed bowl or ashtray and two flower-shaped glass dishes, one featuring an amber tint and the other with a red centre fading to clear. The group is completed by a clear glass spherical paperweight with an internal pattern of controlled bubbles (bullicante technique) and a multi-faceted clear crystal figurine in the form of a pineapple, in the style of Swarovski.
