Lot 499: Large Hand-Blown Vintage Venetian Studio Art Glass Spatter Design Shallow Bowl
A large, hand-blown studio art glass shallow bowl or platter of irregular and undulating circular form. The piece features a vibrant internal multi-coloured spatter or frit decoration, creating a swirling vortex pattern composed of dense yellow and mustard-amber glass chips, interspersed with flecks of white and streaks of dark blue, all encased within a clear glass body. The organic, centrifugally-formed shape is characteristic of late 20th-century studio glass production. A white adhesive lot sticker for HCP Auctions South West (Lot 499) is present on the rim. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
