Lot 852: A Mid-20th Century Adjustable Over-Chair Side Table with Decorative Panel Signed Luba
A mid-20th century adjustable over-chair or side table featuring a rectangular top finished in an orange wood-effect laminate with a brown protective edge trim. The tabletop is inset with a large decorative panel depicting abstract, stylised motifs. The design incorporates two bird or fish-like figures in an orange field, a green section with black triangular mountain peaks, and a red rectangular block, all arranged within a geometric composition. The panel bears a cursive signature Luba on the lower right-hand side. The table is supported by a black-painted tubular metal H-frame base, designed to slide under furniture. The frame includes screw-knob adjustment mechanisms to regulate the height and tilt of the tabletop.
