Lot 501: A Vintage Indian Cotton Hand-Embroidered Patchwork Jacket with Shisha Mirror Work
A 1970s Kimbara dreadnought-style acoustic guitar, manufactured in Japan. The instrument is designed as a copy of a C.F. Martin D-series model and features a natural finished spruce top with dark-grained wood back and sides. The guitar is constructed with a rosewood fretboard featuring simple dot inlays and a rosewood bridge. It is fitted with a black teardrop-style plastic pickguard and enclosed chrome tuning machines. Kimbara was a brand name used by the UK distributor FCN Music for instruments imported from Japan during the late 1960s and 1970s. The lot includes a modern black hardshell case with white piping and a blue crushed-velvet plush interior.
