An assortment of military field gear and embroidered insignia primarily of British and United States origin, dating from the late 20th century to the Global War on Terror era. The lot includes British Army issue equipment, notably a set of two nesting rectangular aluminium mess tins containing a folding metal pocket stove and a base-plate compass with a red lanyard. A black plastic canteen is present, embossed with the text Keep Away From Heat Or Flame and NATO Stock Number 8415-99-973-6654, identifying it as a British issue pattern. Textile components consist of a Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) camouflage pouch, an olive-drab wool blanket or ground cloth, and a small olive-drab webbing pouch. The collection further features a variety of US Army embroidered shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) and pins. These include patches for US Army Central (formerly 3rd Army), the 1st Infantry Division (Big Red One), and the 101st Airborne Division. Also present are various US Army rank stripes, infantry crossed rifles branch pins, and a commemorative novelty patch reading Fabulous Human Machine Camp.
