A carved wooden sculpture depicting a stylised long-necked bird, such as a crane or heron, in a standing posture. The piece is executed in a mid-century modern style with a polished, warm-toned wood finish. Design features include simplified, elegant anatomical lines, incised zigzag patterns to the wings, and a small inlaid eye of contrasting colour.
