Lot 633: Silver Openwork Quatrefoil Pendant Necklace
A large Tiffany leaded art glass hanging lampshade of domed form. The shade is constructed from numerous panels of opalescent slag glass using the copper foil technique. The main body features a geometric grid composed of cream, ivory, and pale amber mottled glass panels. The lower perimeter is decorated with a continuous ornamental floral border featuring pink-petalled flowers with deep ruby-red centres, interspersed with green foliate motifs and stylized fleur-de-lis elements in red and green glass. The shade is crowned with a circular, dark-patinated metal cap featuring an integrated hanging hook. A white rectangular auction sticker from VCP Auctions South West is affixed to the exterior glass. No maker signatures or stamps are visible on the glass or hardware.
