Lot 981: Two Pieces of Lloyd Loom Style Woven Furniture
A large, traditional bell-shaped lampshade. The outer cover is constructed from a gold-toned fabric with a horizontal slubbed texture in the style of shantung silk. The upper and lower rims are finished with a dark, decorative braided gimp trim. The interior is lined with a cream-coloured fabric. The internal support structure is a metal wire frame featuring a central ring mount, typically used for a standard floor lamp or a large table lamp harp. Multiple adhesive paper auction labels are attached to the exterior and interior surfaces.
