Lot 1112: A Pair of Blue-Grey Ribbed Vinyl Folding Seats
An Edwardian mahogany dressing table executed in the George III Sheraton revival style. The piece features a bow-fronted body with inlaid boxwood stringing to the drawer fronts, resting on four square tapered legs. The structure is surmounted by a large rectangular mirror set within a shaped mahogany frame, supported by a raised gallery that houses two small drawers. The main body comprises five drawers arranged around a central kneehole, including a wide central drawer and two sets of flanking drawers. All drawer fronts are decorated with inlaid stringing and retain brass ring-pull hardware on circular backplates. Construction details include hand-cut dovetail joints and a secondary carcass wood of light-coloured pine. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible.
