Lot 1123: An Early 20th Century Oak Two-Tier Occasional Table
A two-part decorative model of a shipwreck, intended for use as aquarium ornamentation or as a garden feature. The pieces are cast from a composite resin material and finished with a polychrome painted surface. The design features detailed modelling to simulate weathered wooden planking, rope rigging, and various ship components including cannons and a raised anchor medallion on the hull of one section. Each piece sits upon a textured base representing a rocky seabed with artificial moss and coral growth. The undersides exhibit flat, cast surfaces. One section retains an adhesive lot tag numbered 1126 from Auction South West.
