Lot 1149: A Black Fabric Storage Ottoman with Internal Organiser Boxes
This lot comprises a fireplace suite consisting of a wooden mantelpiece, a composite stone back panel, and an electric fire unit. The wooden surround is designed in a Neoclassical Regency revival style, featuring fluted pilasters and circular carved paterae rosettes at the corner blocks. The frieze is decorated with a central carved foliate scroll motif. The back panel is a U-shaped piece constructed from composite stone with a light-coloured aggregate, providing a terrazzo-style finish. An electric fire unit in a black metal casing with a power cord is included. The surround appears to be constructed from a stained hardwood. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the items.
