Lot 176: An Assortment of Vintage Jewellery and Curios including Sterling Silver Enamel and a Mummified Lizard
An assortment of vintage jewellery items and small curios. The collection includes several rings with dark cabochon stones and ornate shoulders, and various brooches featuring a yellow-metal floral design, a green enamelled frog with red stone eyes, a bar brooch with a central blue faceted stone, and a clear rhinestone spray brooch. Also present are a collection of stick pins with horseshoe and bird motifs and a small lady’s wristwatch with a yellow-metal case and black cord strap. Additional items include two cream-coloured napkin rings, an ornate hatpin with a large dark teardrop bead and safety chain, and a small silver-toned button hook with a cream handle. One small flat metal implement bears Birmingham sterling silver hallmarks, including the letters H and A, a lion passant, and an anchor. The lot also contains a mummified lizard specimen.
