Lot 219: A Collection of Vintage Vehicle and Agricultural Rally Commemorative Brass Plaques and Memorabilia
A collection of commemorative rally plaques and brasses, primarily representing vintage vehicle and agricultural events in Devon and Cornwall. The items are constructed from brass, base metal, and enamel, and are mounted onto a plywood board. The collection includes oak leaf-shaped brasses for the Holsworthy Rally with dates for 1990, 1991, 1996, and 2000. A notable hammer-shaped plaque is inscribed Padstow Vintage Rally Cornwall 2004. Other pieces include a triangular Liskeard Steam and Vintage Rally 1988 plaque, a circular Teign Valley Tractor Rally 1989 brass, and a winged anniversary plaque for Devon N.M.R. dated 1981. The Kernow Old Vehicle Club is represented by an enamelled plaque dated 1972 and a 1990 rally brass.
