Lot 501: A Collection of Mid-Century Art Glass including a Viking Glass Style Swung Vase
A collection of mid-century art glass comprising various decorative vessels and accessories in a range of colours and glassmaking techniques. The group features a tall, tapered emerald green glass vase with a multi-lobed base, in the style of the Viking Glass Epic pattern. Also included is a deep green oval-bodied vase featuring the bullicante technique with controlled internal air bubbles, and a large amber crackle glass vase supported by a clear glass stem with a spiral-twist design on a circular foot. The collection is further composed of a light green frosted glass vase with a ruffled rim, a slender green glass vase with etched grape and vine motifs on a clear foot, a small cobalt blue glass vase, and a turquoise blue glass dish of heavy square form. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the pieces.
