It is prong-set in a rose-coloured metal mount and suspended from a fine-link box chain. The ring features an oval cabochon stone that appears to be opal with a similar play-of-colour, set in a white metal shank with a crossover design. The shoulders are accented by small pavé-set colourless stones. No hallmarks, purity marks, or maker’s marks are visible on either piece.
