Lot 573: An Assortment of Loose Faceted Red Gemstones Appearing to be Rubies
An assortment of loose, faceted red gemstones, presented in a clear plastic packet containing a printed paper insert from Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 573. The reverse of the paper insert bears a faint handwritten inscription appearing to read Rubies. The gemstones exhibit a vibrant, deep pinkish-red colour and are cut in a round brilliant style. The stones display good transparency with visible inclusions typical of corundum, although they have not been gemologically tested for authenticity, synthetic origin, or treatment.
Measurements: Estimated at approximately 2mm to 2.5mm in diameter each
