Lot 747: A Jacobethan Revival Carved Oak Fire Screen
A Jacobethan revival-style fire screen, constructed from dark-stained oak. The piece features a central rectangular panel inset within a frame, decorated with a centrally carved, stylised foliate fleur-de-lis motif. The frame is supported by two upright posts with barley-twist turnings, terminating in trestle-style sledge feet joined by a lower cross-stretcher. An auction lot sticker with the number 747 is applied to the front left of the frame. No other maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
