Lot 798: A Contemporary Five-Drawer Natural Fibre and Timber Storage Chest
A contemporary five-drawer storage chest, resembling the Dariana model. The unit is constructed with a timber internal framework clad in thick, braided natural fibre, likely seagrass or water hyacinth. The configuration comprises two small square drawers stacked together on the left and three tall rectangular drawers arranged side-by-side to the right. Each drawer front incorporates an integrated, oval-shaped handle cut-out. The top and side surfaces are finished with matching braided fibre. Two white adhesive labels are visible on the front and side elevations. No maker’s marks or branding are discernible.
