Lot 941: A pair of contemporary white-painted three-drawer chests of drawers
A matching pair of small chests of drawers, suitable for use as bedside cabinets, in the neoclassical revival style. Each unit features a rectangular top with a moulded edge over three drawers. The chests are supported by a shallow arched apron and bracket-style feet. The exterior surfaces are finished in a matte white paint over a wooden substrate. The drawer interiors consist of light-toned secondary timber and are fitted with modern metal side-mounted runners for operation. Hardware includes a single dark-finished circular pull knob to the top drawer and central drop-ring handles to the two lower drawers. No manufacturer marks or labels were identified.
