Lot 112: Royal Tudor Ware Regency Pattern Ironstone Saucer
A mid-20th-century ironstone tea saucer manufactured by Royal Tudor Ware, a brand name used by Barker Brothers (and later Federated Potteries) of Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. The piece features the Regency pattern, decorated with blue and white transfer-printed floral motifs. The central well contains a bouquet of roses and other flowers set within a circular blue ground. The surrounding area displays four floral sprays and rococo-style scrolls on a cream ground, finished with a scalloped rim and a narrow repeating geometric border. The reverse bears a blue printed underglaze backstamp featuring the pattern name Regency in Gothic script, alongside the maker name Royal Tudor Ware and text indicating permanent colour and detergent proofing.
