Lot 309: A Collection of Art Monographs and Reference Books including Eyewitness Art Goya and Monet.
An assortment of art reference books and monographs primarily focused on 19th-century European masters. The collection includes multiple volumes from the Eyewitness Art series, specifically Goya by Patricia Wright, published in association with the National Gallery, London, and Monet by Jude Welton, published in association with the Musee Marmottan, Paris. These volumes are presented in large quarto format with pictorial boards and contain numerous colour plates, historical photographs, and annotated illustrations of artists tools and techniques. Also included is a large format hardcover volume titled Hommage a Claude Monet, featuring a full-bleed cover illustration of the artists garden at Vetheuil.
