Lot 472: An assortment of ceramic tableware including wheat pattern and cherub decorated wares
This collection of ceramic tableware features two distinct patterns. The first is an assortment of items in the style of the Autumn Song pattern by Johnson Brothers, decorated with transfer-printed golden wheat stalks and turquoise floral sprigs on a white ground with gilt rims. This group includes a lidded sugar bowl with twin handles, a cream jug, several coffee cups, a large circular plate, and a stack of smaller plates and bowls. The second group consists of a pair of coffee cups and saucers with deep emerald green borders, ornate gilt scrolling acanthus leaves, and cherub motifs. No factory marks or signatures are visible.
