Lot 588: Mid-Century Cased Art Glass Vase with Pulled Feather Decoration
A hand-blown cased glass vase featuring an opaque white interior and a marbled brown and tan exterior. The outer surface is decorated with vertical pulled feather motifs in contrasting earthy tones. The vessel is designed with a wide flared rim that tapers into a slender neck before expanding into a bulbous lower body. The piece has a smooth, polished finish to the exterior. An auction lot tag from Auctions South West is adhered to the neck, numbered Lot 588. No maker’s signatures or etched marks are visible on the body or base.
