Lot 606: A Collection of Art Glass Paperweights and a Woolen End Studio Ceramic Cottage
A collection of seven decorative items comprising studio art glass and a ceramic miniature. The group features a hand-painted ceramic model of a cottage with a grey conical roof and orange-brown walls with window details. The base of the cottage is stamped Woolen End Studio, Felsham, Suffolk, England, and includes the handwritten mark 24 G. The glass components of the lot include a teardrop-shaped clear glass paperweight with internal red flame-style swirls and metallic gold-coloured inclusions, and a similar teardrop-shaped clear glass paperweight featuring internal blue and white pulled-thread swirl decoration. Animal figurines consist of a clear glass pelican with a speckled orange and gold-coloured interior, a solid amber-coloured glass bird, and a small amber-coloured glass figurine. The collection is completed by a small opaque pale blue-grey glass egg-shaped ornament.
