Lot 627: A Traditional Handmade Birch Besom Broom
A traditional handmade birch besom broom featuring a straight natural wooden handle with a smooth finish and visible light grain. The brush head is constructed from a dense bundle of natural birch twigs, which are secured to the handle using two thin wire bands and a decorative twine binding located lower down the brush. A small white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the centre of the handle, bearing the handwritten number 206.
