Lot 254: Victorian Style Cast Iron Garden Parasol Base
A heavy cast iron garden parasol base of circular form. The design features a central radiating openwork pattern of swirling foliate motifs, enclosed by a raised border of repeating scrollwork. A central cylindrical support tube is bolted to the base, equipped with a threaded tightening screw and a black plastic head to secure a parasol pole. The item has a dark finish with green verdigris patination.
